Own Your Career at ITV
Own Your Career at ITV
We want everyone to feel empowered to take ownership of their career development.
No matter what stage you’re at in your career journey, we provide tools designed to support you with developing a career you love.
Career development means something different to everyone and we recognise that some careers are squiggly, with sideways and diagonal moves, and some of them have a clear vertical path. We want to help you get to where you want to be.

ITV Career Framework
Career Progression
We’ve started to create a career framework to help you visualise potential career pathways at ITV and to understand where they are, where they can go, and how to get there.
Job Families
This is a pilot project using several different ITV job families initially, which have been created in collaboration with colleagues working in these job families across ITV.
Skills
This site sets out the job information and expected skills at each level within a job family, and enables you to digitally explore different roles and opportunities at ITV, including the skill matches and gaps between different jobs.
Your Next Career Move
If you’re aiming for the next step in your career to be in one of these job families, take a look at the information on this site and then book in a career development conversation with your manager to discuss where to focus your development.
For more tools and inspiration about developing your career at ITV, check out the Own Your Career page on myITV and the latest ITV job opportunities.
As this is a pilot project, we’d love to hear from you. Please email your feedback to Talkingdevelopment@itv.com.
